Gearing up for Enterprise

Because many individuals do not readily see themselves as part of the ‘enterprise culture’ the task of animating them to consider self-employment as a valid, attractive career option is challenging. Intermediaries with grass-root relationships and ongoing influence on those not currently engaging with the idea of enterprise are well placed to play a significant part in nurturing and developing the latent potential within our community.

The programme explores the potential in all of us to be enterprising. It is delivered in a single day and designed to raise intermediaries’ awareness of the potential of enterprise to be a catalyst for positively changing the lives of individuals. The programme offers insights, ways of working and practical support to help teachers, youth and community workers, Connexions staff and others with influence to engage their clients in enterprise.
